I had intermittent problems with the vapor lock on my Ford 352 FE with 4100 carb and then turned it back on. It would be a bit slow to start, then start and die. I had to let it cool down for a few hours, then everything was fine. I've read about carburetor isolators and this one seemed best for my purposes. It looks and feels good and comes with longer mounting bolts, nuts and spacers. It was easy to install and my machine runs as good or better than before. He hasn't fixed me yet, but not enough time has passed to put him to any real scrutiny. I'll post here later when I know more. Update: After installing this I drove the car 150 miles round trip. I had no problems. The car was likely not exposed to the same conditions that caused the previous vapor lock. However, now that the engine is hot, it starts faster. To me that means a cooler carburetor.
