Premium Equipment. Professionally made, well packaged, clear instructions, aesthetic appearance. And on top of that, CO2 is produced. I have no idea how long one charge will last my 10 gallon planted tank. However, I do know for sure that it will last longer than my 45g Fluval CO2 replacement cartridge which only lasts a week if I'm "frugal". And a replacement 3 x 45g Fluval cartridge is about $45 for three weeks! Fluval, don't mind, but replacing CO2 is more expensive than gold. With this CO2 reactor, a good quality Revain Baking Soda + Citric Acid will last under $30, I'm guessing at least 6 months! It takes several hours to pressurize the reactor and it takes about 10 minutes to gauge and load the reactor, but this is an excellent kit as there are no pressurized CO2 cylinders to replace at specialty stores or need to be filled. I prefer not to include a magnet because I want to be in contact with my tank every day. Automation isn't bad, but it depends on how I interact with my hobby.
