I read this in another review before I bought it but I was too excited after unplugging my processor so I forgot about it and ended up causing a huge headache. simply applied as usual. Temperatures were good for most of the day, at night I noticed they were basically the same temperatures before I removed the eyelids and I turned off the power and explored, I removed the cooler to a nightmare of liquid paste everywhere Seeing, I pulled out the entire motherboard to clean it but it looked bad, to my fear after I pulled out the processor some of it kinda ran into the socket. It can be cleaned with patience, I messed it up, bent pins and just upgraded my motherboard and CPU. I'll take another megabyte for the old processor and build a separate computer, I've been thinking about an upgrade anyway. some of it until it thickens. I pre-spread a little X and the temps seem to be about average for the CPU air cooler I'm using, so I wouldn't say it's rubbish. Be careful with this though, thermal paste is not easy to remove from the socket
