I used a 1/2 inch drill bit to cut several feet of channels in 3/4 thick plywood. Before I started, the router bit seemed perfectly serviced. Nice and sharp. The bit seemed to work in the router. When I was finished I looked at the drill again and noticed that the carbide inserts were badly chipped. On plywood. I've never had a problem like this with plywood milling. Unfortunately, I have to say that the carbide inserts are not of the best quality.
