I was excited to be able to control the AMPS and WATTS that feed my boat's battery system from my solar array. This counter does just that, but there are a few caveats. First, the schematic is too simple for an installation that includes a solar panel, charge controller, battery pack, and power distribution system. It took me several attempts to get more than just VOLTS out of the meter. And then, after everything finally works, the screen turns out to be quite difficult to read unless you point your face directly at it: very frustrating! So I have to try again with an LED display (also from DROK).
