Review on Innovative Performance Power Programmer Volvo Replacement Parts in Engines & Engine Parts by Dave Mosby

I tried to contribute.

I've tried my best to get this installed in my car but the support team couldn't/won't solve the question of where exactly and I don't want to install it by guesswork. I would be the perfect test subject - my old Volvo has 190,000 hours on the clock and doesn't use a drop of oil between changes. I just replaced the ATF, which looked like maple syrup but smelled like old tennis shoes, replaced a broken kickdown cable, then drove to Helena's and back. I often do this 560 mile round trip, in fact it's 99% of my mileage. I was in a bit of a hurry on this trip so my average speed according to my GPS was 82.4 mph and I got 20.7 mpg. If this thing could actually add mileage beyond those numbers when I hit 70 like I normally do, it must look incredible! I guess we'll never know.

Pros
  • DOES NOT make permanent changes to your car's computer! This does not invalidate your factory warranty and no exhaust systems are changed. The performance chip is fully compatible with your Volvo 240, 242, 244 and 245 vehicles on all trim levels, including 2.1 liter and 2.3 liter engines.
Cons
  • Very expensive
