We've been using this style of orbital massager since 1987. at $200 for a stripped down version of our trusted brand (we bought the most expensive and worn 3 of these) we felt we should buy something less expensive. This turned out to be a very positive decision. This machine moves in a much shorter orbit and gives the impression of a less effective massage. The machine weighs over 7 pounds, but we've found that the machine's shorter orbit and weight are optimal for our family: together, they provide a deep, relaxing, yet energizing treatment. We use this every day at least 1.5 hours, sometimes up to 4 hours a day. I've read that others found it disappointing that it wasn't strong enough and didn't meet their needs. As a family we agree that this device provides the best massage for our needs and at less than 1/4 the cost of our previous devices it's a bargain for us. The fact that it's much quieter is an added bonus.
