I bought them for a trip to Paris and Rome because I read about them and saw a lot of people doing the same. I got them a month before and have worn them everywhere only to break them with no problem. But on my first day in Paris I got terrible blisters on my toes. The moral of the story is that they're cute and good for a little walk, but nothing more. I still like to wear them when I don't have to walk a lot.
