Review on πŸ”Œ Kasa Smart Plug Power Strip HS300: Surge Protector with 6 Individually Controlled Outlets and 3 USB Ports, Works with Alexa & Google Home – No Hub Required by Dan Sturm

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good extension cord - great price

First of all this is an extension cord / surge protector, it has six outlets and three USB ports. The plug is a 'flat' design with the cord coming out of the plug at an angle, this allows furniture to be placed closer to the wall but is a bit annoying if you want the strip to be on the left side of the Socket sticks inside. If it had a rotating fork design it would have been five stars. The great value here is that it's a smart strip, with each of the six outlets being a separate smart switch that can be turned on or off individually or in groups (USB ports aren't smart ports). With the Kasa app, you can easily identify each of the outlets, customize the name and icons, and then turn them on or off, set timers, or customize them as part of your routines. I have multiple TP Link displays, plugs and switches and this strip has integrated seamlessly into my ecosystem. I use Google Home as my primary device management tool and they go really well together.
