This dress look different in person than the online image. Which is not to say it’s a completely bad thing it just didn’t look as vibrant as I thought it would look in person. The garment was well constructed and But was lacking the Aline shape that it appears to have online on the model . Where the bodice meets the skirt there is thin strip of elastic sewn at the waist that is supposed to pull the dress in and define the waist, it doesn’t really do that it’s just straight up and down like a column style dress, I’m sure that problem could be fixed for most people by just adding a belt or sash I however did not want to add a belt to the dress as I was going to wear it in a more casual setting. Overall the dress was very well constructed, the fabric had a nice weight to it it was not thin or flimsy or see-through and could be worn with or without a slip, the seams lined up and the patterns were not mismatched and the length of the dress was perfect for my height I could wear it with flat sandals or with a wedge type heel. For the reasons I mentioned I chose to return the dress it just did not work out for my body type a nice dress just not for me.
