Works well on mugs

I've used them on mugs about 10 times with no problems. you hold on. I use a layer of butcher paper so ink doesn't transfer. I had a problem trying on a metal lens. The metal part scratched the glass. They weren't designed for glasses, so it's not the product's fault. I had no problem scratching ceramic mugs. I would recommend them.
