Review on Enhance Your Lighting with GE Lighting 85392: High-Performance 500 Lumen Replacement by Balakrishna Tam

I recently bought four of these lightbulbs for my bathroom to replace some others that were starting to burn out. The good news is that these 11-watt bulbs are as bright or even brighter than the 14-watt bulbs (from another manufacturer) they replaced. The other good news is that there was a small delay in reaching full brightness; Flick the switch and the lights in the room come on, reaching full brightness in five to ten seconds. My previous bulbs would light up at a fraction of their brightness and then take about 30 seconds to reach full intensity. Having just received them, I can't say how long they will last, but if a problem is found in that department I will revisit this review. The best thing about these lamps is the packaging. They come in a heavy, clear plastic packaging that is usually very difficult to open. Not this one. Packages can be opened with minimal effort and without the use of scissors or other tools and without cutting your fingers.
