Good quality kit, glass weights and locks. Very easy to use, place your items in the jar in the solution, cover with weights, cover the jar with lids (wide mouth jars not included), put on the airlocks and break. I got this for my wife so she can start fermenting some. She's already cooked some beans and pickles. It is not pickled, it ferments like sauerkraut, which I hope! The set is simple, easy to use, easy to clean and has made my wife happy. I think the only caveat is that you're only making 4 liter jars at a time. I also think you're paying more for the convenience and perceived value than the actual cost of the items included. For the price offered, it's not bad. I give 4 stars.
