I got this for my 2013 Chevy Volt, with proximity door locks and push button start. All functions work like the original for me. The only differences I can point out are: no Chevy symbol, the key turning knob protrudes further, and the key comes out with more force (perhaps due to wear on the original). You don't have to cut the key to use the electronic functions. For the 2013 Volt the key needs to be cut off ONLY to open the doors when there is no power in the car. I was concerned about this because the description says it doesn't work on cars with smart keys. Great value for money and I can buy more.
