Update: We've just changed the filter for the first time since buying it in January. The light indicated it was time and was easy to change, but I recommend putting it in the bin. He filtered out A LOT! Very gross but impressive!**** We brought in 4 dogs and 2 cats, lots of dust and dirt from outside. We knew our air was bad, but we had no idea how bad it was. This air purifier immediately turned red due to poor air quality. After about an hour it went green. I didn't realize how stale our air was until things cleared up. I've also noticed that we're not sneezing or coughing, and it's only been a few days! It's quiet and gets the job done.
