I have already ordered ONE rear lift for my '91 Toyota Land Cruiser thinking I just need one. Around the same time I ordered other parts for this car (fuel pump, floats, gaskets from other locations). That's why I ordered this pair of tailgates. I installed it today and noticed that the mounting flanges on each end are very light weight metal. I've already installed about half the thickness of another brand's single jack. Well I have to assume it works. He goes to the exhibition with goods from the Far East, having saved a few dollars. You really do get what you pay for. I just hope the gas shock lasts a few years in the Texas heat. I have doubts.
