Review on πŸ’§ Efficient Green Mitered Drain with 4-Inch Angled Drainage Grate by Ross Decoteau

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Expensive but all drainage devices seem

It's expensive for what it is but it's one of the few things you see. For what it is, it is for the price. It's basically an 18 inch piece of SCH80 that someone cut at an 18 degree angle. Then the green piece of plastic is screwed on with two self-tapping screws. That's all. I had trouble installing it as the description says "Suitable for Schedule 40 PVC pipe or DWV pipe bell or fittings". Not sure if they sent me the wrong item but mine was SCH80. perfect afterwards. However, the DWV adapter added extra thickness as it fits on the outside of this product. Now this part is only covered with a few millimeters of dirt. This can be both good and bad. This was a problem until I installed blocking devices upstream. Overall this is a great alternative to a pop up drain. ejects the end of the whistle instead of returning up through the pop-up emitter.
