Thick, durable and as described.

This is thick, rigid, hard plastic, just what I needed for a French gutter that ends in a ditch. The only thing I would change is to make the green trellis metal instead of plastic so it will hold up a bit better over time (and herbivores or lawnmowers that might graze on it or throw garbage on it).

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Something different

expensive_if you have a plastic press buy it instead

If this item wasn't so expensive for what you are getting I would be over the moon but for $50 each you are only getting a green grill. It's a sham, but I salute capitalism. This item would look great on the front yard as a downspout for an underground gutter system instead of white pipes sticking out of the front yard. What more can I say, the price is 2-3 times overpriced.

Durable and well made.

I don't know why I was surprised by the size of this downspout considering I ordered one that fits a 40" by 40" chart but it's large. However, it is well made, durable and fits the whistle snugly. I plan to order about 5 more for the remaining downspouts in our new design. These are used with the NDS-1200BKIT 12" Drainage Basin Kit and replace the standard grate with a Storm Drain FSD-124 Replacement 12" Black Square Atrium Grate.

Expensive but practical.

Angle fits my needs. The top of the grate is right on top of the pipe so there isn't much dirt on it. The grille is more flexible than I expected, but it should take whatever I drive through. I had to tweak the surrounding landscape a bit to match the lawn, but I think it looks good. It would be difficult for me to cut the corner by myself. My son has a 3D printer that can create a new grid if I need one. Seems expensive for these two pieces bolted together, but I haven't seen a comparable…

Good alternative for slopes

Bought to move a drain pipe to move a drain pipe that drained water around my landscape flower bed. I'm planning on installing landscape rocks so I bought a few to try this out and ran a 4" drain pipe underneath. Drains water away from the foundation and no longer bothers the landscaper. It worked relatively well but couldn't connect to the 4" coupler, had to use a Fernco coupler to connect to the drain pipe. Worked pretty well, only complaints about high cost and a very wide tube that can't…

  • Sturdy surface

  • Unusable features

Expensive but all drainage devices seem

It's expensive for what it is but it's one of the few things you see. For what it is, it is for the price. It's basically an 18 inch piece of SCH80 that someone cut at an 18 degree angle. Then the green piece of plastic is screwed on with two self-tapping screws. That's all. I had trouble installing it as the description says "Suitable for Schedule 40 PVC pipe or DWV pipe bell or fittings". Not sure if they sent me the wrong item but mine was SCH80. perfect afterwards. However, the DWV adapter…

UPDATE: Great product and now customer service.

UPDATE: Kari from Mitered Drain got in touch with me after our initial email exchange and they were able to assist my request for a replacement grate for a very reasonable fee. Again I screwed up and hit the grate with the mower so I was looking for a replacement for the damaged part not the whole assembly which would have required me to dig up the pipe. They don't usually do that, but they came and took care of me. I have downgraded this to 5 stars because it really is a wonderful product…

Pros
  • Great price

  • Big and bulky
