Review on 💧 Efficient Green Mitered Drain with 4-Inch Angled Drainage Grate by Bryant Randolph

UPDATE: Kari from Mitered Drain got in touch with me after our initial email exchange and they were able to assist my request for a replacement grate for a very reasonable fee. Again I screwed up and hit the grate with the mower so I was looking for a replacement for the damaged part not the whole assembly which would have required me to dig up the pipe. They don't usually do that, but they came and took care of me. I have downgraded this to 5 stars because it really is a wonderful product. Just don't mow around it. Use your trimmer. :) Make no mistake. This is a great product. It installs fairly easily, looks good, and works as expected. I've had it installed for a little over a year. Up until 2 weeks ago I would have (and probably should have) given this product 5 stars with a slight minus for the price. A few weeks ago I lowered my mower to collect leaves and prepare for winter. I miscalculated my distance and came across the grating of a sloping drain. All my fault. I thought, okay, it's time to buy a new drain cap. think again You can't just buy a grille, you have to pay $48 for the entire assembly and throw away the rest. I got a very quick response from the company confirming that they do not sell the grille as a separate option. It's a shame coming from a company with a good product. It's time to start the 3D printer.
