I am very happy with these gloves - great finger feel, good grip. These aren't necessarily cold weather gloves but I get quite hot when I start riding so they work great for me even at night when temperatures have dropped below 20C over the past few months. Very impressed with how well they are holding up so far. Black palms show dirt very quickly (just as white hands wouldn't!). I even got bitten on the back of my hand the other night and the horse ended up getting the back of my hand and not my hand - no worse for wear! Update - 11/2013. Over a year later I am still using these gloves. A few small threads are beginning to show on the edges of the fingers where there is a reinforced section between the pinky and ring finger, but otherwise they hold up great. I wear them for skiing all year round as they reduce toe wear a bit. The velcro on the wrist still holds up well, although it has started to curl when not attached to itself. Considering they wore it year round for 3 years I'm very happy with a pair of $20 gloves. I went purple this time - and here's a photo of the old and new so you can see both!
