Works Great: Luggage & Travel Gear

I bought these locks for my luggage to use on a recent trip. During the 3-hour flight to the destination, the locks remained locked and worked well both locked and unlocked. TSA left them on and didn't remove them. On the flight home one of the two bags with these locks was cut off and we found in the TSA letter they rummaged through our luggage. Inside the bag they crashed (literally crashed, apparently in addition to the search, they also threw it somewhere and got stuck in the gears of something, drilling / tearing a massive hole in the upper part of the suitcase) there was one Letter from TSA saying they got in. Luckily they chose to search my luggage with only our dirty clothes and not fragile family memories from Disney World and the like. So these locks work, but the TSA doesn't seem to try to open them with any key. They were just cut off. For all types of TSA approved locks, I've seen reviews from people who were frustrated that all keys are the same for all locks. I don't think everyone understands that that's exactly the idea. All of these locks are said to use the same key, which must also be the same key that all TSA agents are required to use to open the bags. If they all used unique keys, TSA agents would not have the correct keys to get into the pockets. However, this seems to be a moot point as the TSA seems to only disable the locks instead of using the keys. But I will still use these locks every time I travel as they at least keep other people out of my bags and prevent my bag zippers from unzipping and the contents of my luggage spilling onto the baggage carousel.
