Cool cooler, did not expect. The 5700X cools decently and digests even 150 watts of heat (but with an uncomfortable howl of the fan and a high temperature during the stress test), which, however, was decided by tuning the processor settings - if you throttle it by voltage, then everything is OK and the cooler is more than enough right away becomes even under load. Up to 1000 rpm it is quite quiet. Bought out of greed, because at a discount. Well, let it be, the stock does not pull the pocket. And suddenly it turned out to be very good, so Zalman CNPS10X Performa didn’t even take it off the old motherboard - because it’s categorically inconvenient to put it back with less than 4 hands. And here - it is easy for one person. My admiration. I advise everyone. I think it will go to AM5 on 7600/7600X or 7700/7700X, but it will require mandatory undervolting of the processor (I did not check, but the "downvolted" 7700X at the peak under SB23 is less than 100 watts, and in a real load - 60-70, so it should cope with). At 5700X, without undervolting, it is "normal", but it starts to make noise under heavy load, when it heats up under 120 watts. With a decrease in voltage and at less than 90 watts - excellent. You can probably try for 12-16 cores, but if you want to be quiet and not get warm, it won't work. You will have to sacrifice both temperature and silence even with undervolting. Pull to the limit. In short: for a 6-8-core processor on AM4, this is definitely an excellent choice. You can even use it without any configuration manipulations if you are ready to sacrifice either noise or temperature. With the setting - and quiet and cool. For AM5 - I would take something more productive, but for younger models you can try with a reservation about mandatory undervolting and probable noise under load.
