Review on 🔑 Vintage Mortise Lock Crystal Knob Set with Skeleton Key - Old Time Elegance by Stephen Zimmer

We temporarily live in an old house and all the doors except the front door have mortise locks. The existing mortise locks are old and falling apart. After a few weeks of looking for a replacement that didn't cost a small fortune, I came across this offer at Revain. I thought why not and ordered. It arrived a few days before the scheduled delivery date, which was a big plus initially. Installation was easy enough and I was lucky I didn't have to drill the door because they fit into pre-existing holes. I'll admit I'm not a fan of the vintage look (it does look a bit gaudy), but locking the bathroom door is a priority. So far, so good. The mechanism works well, there have been no failures so far. Overall, the design looks quite solid. I will update this review after a while to comment on durability. UPDATE: It's now mid-July and everything is still fine. I have to admit I was a bit worried about how it would look after being exposed to the humidity in the bathroom air. He has held up well. So far it works perfectly with no problems. Definitely happy with this product. I wish I could buy a few more considering they're gone now.
