After a year of use I gave up on this bottle. While I love the concept of the bite and snap hook, I've found that their general usefulness is limited. The bottle design has two main disadvantages: 1. Frequent cleaning required If you use Eddy daily, you can expect dirt to build up in the nozzle every 1-2 weeks. This is because the bite valve retains a few drops of water after drinking, which remain until the next use. It's easy enough to clean if you have a pipe cleaner. Leaks This bottle is leaking around the bite valve due to a design flaw. Putting the bottle in my pocket or backpack is an absolute guarantee that it will spill onto surrounding items. I believe the problem lies in the transition between the tip of the straw and the bite valve. Every time I take the bottle out of my pocket, it gets wet in the nozzle and filament area. In my opinion the leakage problem should deter anyone from buying this bottle unless you only use it upright on a table and remember to clean it frequently.
