Review on 🐾 Pet Gear Extended Length Ramp by Dana Jones

I received this item for my 14 year old Chihuahua who has lower back problems. He's more reluctant to go up the steps to the house and the fall and winter rains are upon us and I hate going outside, down and up the stairs to get him off the potty. This ramp is perfect for our needs! It goes well with the stairs and is not too steep for him. It took me a short day to teach him how to use the ramp. (Who said you can't teach old dogs new tricks?) I love the light weight that allows me to remove or move the ramp as needed, the color goes well with my deck color and it's a solid construction that allows my dog to be reliable and safe to return indoors without further injury or back pain. I added a rubberized slider to the ramp (I bought a roll of this rubberized shelf liner, it's the right width and comes in a roll, which is enough for me to replace the slider when it wears out); The sanding surface supplied is too rough for delicate paws. Gizmo resisted walking on the ramp until I added a new surface. We are both very happy with this product and it works like a ramp up the stairs to the house.
