This is obviously well done, either by Chinese engineers or very clever machinists. but the usability decreases a bit. I can fix it (and already have), but if you don't have hands you might not know how to fix it yourself. 1) Connect the clip to the base that holds the phone. There is no lock nut, no mechanical lock to prevent the bolt from loosening due to vibration (use), and it is located on the handlebar. so yes it will vibrate. it will fall apart. This requires (minimum) thread lubricant from the customer. but ideally they would just put a lock nut on the bolt. 2) Actually the same problem. on a threaded rod that presses the plate against the side of the phone. This VERY smart and beautiful press fit bearing and holder that allows you to press a plate against the phone. all that was needed next to the knurled knob was a locking washer to prevent it from falling out in the event of vibrations. OR. Use some sort of washer or something that increases friction on a threaded rod with a nice knurled grip. then it not only vibrates! Now none of them are deal killers. this is REALLY nicely done. and the only improvement in appearance could have been a little better finishing before powder coating. but it's really great! In any case. Credit where credit is due. When I saw this compact little box with freshly machined parts inside, I was very happy even before I installed it. As usual, the English language is a bit confusing. could be improved with slightly better English writing. but whatever. Throw away the instructions. although at first I laughed at some sentences.
