The monitor itself is a great upgrade from my previous setup (old TV). I really wouldn't rate it above most monitors available today, but it's definitely not the worst product out there. I think it would be suitable in many different scenarios, from gaming to business environments. The thin (borderless) design also works well in a multi-display configuration. My biggest and currently only criticism of this monitor is the seal on the top of the box that says "Save all packaging materials. The guarantee is void if the item is not shipped in the original packaging. ." How does the packaging material affect the warranty? I may benefit from keeping the material, but I should not be forced to do so for warranty reasons! I can take full responsibility for proper packaging and return shipping, a problem if present without having to repackage it To me, throwing away the box in the name of decluttering is worth the risk of future complaints.
