This is a UV glue stick with a UV flashlight on the end. The pen is 5.5 inches long. At the end is a cap that covers another cap on a thin applicator. In the center is a black reservoir with a pinch tube. At the other end is a battery operated LED lamp with a switch. To use a pen, apply a thin bead of glue to the outside of your object. Then turn the pen over and expose the adhesive to UV treatment for 15 seconds. The light's pen is small, so you'll need to work with the light in ½ inch segments. The handle was made in China. I have found this adhesive to work quite well for minor repairs. I used it to fix a broken heirloom mug. I don't think this was the best glue for the job as it only works on the surface - since UV light has to hit the glue for it to cure you can't put glue on the seams for an invisible repair. But on the surface the glue dries quickly and hard. The advantage of this glue over superglue is that you don't have to worry about sticking your fingers together. It took a whole tube of glue to attach the bowl I was working on. But then I discovered that the top of the handle actually unscrews and I can refill the tank with UV glue. This comes in very handy, especially since the flashlight seems to have enough power to continue many, many more spouts of the glue tank. Overall, this pen is the right tool and easy to use for certain types of repairs.
