Lighter materials than expected. We bought the round one, it fits well and is easy to assemble. I like the rubber grommets where it attaches to the toilet. 3 things we don't like: a) The seat is steeply sloped from the seat perimeter to the inner opening. It's a little uncomfortable. Probably more suitable for children's belts. b) the points of contact with the rim of the toilet are small and angled, resulting in the seat tending to move from side to side more than usual. c) The hinges seem to have too much play (perhaps this is necessary for a self-closing mechanism). This also contributes to the shifting of the seat from side to side. We bought this chair because it had all the 5 star reviews (although there weren't many reviews at the time) and it was on sale (<$30). Not a bad toilet seat, but nothing special either.
