These were my first LEDs that have filament made to mimic Edison bulbs and are completely exposed. I installed these in my bathroom, which has a surprising number of light bulbs for being pretty small, and is also the only place in my house with a dimmer switch. I am so pleased with them. The fixtures in my bathroom are clear, with the purpose of having a pretty bulb inside I assume, so the bulbs look really nice both on and off. The filaments are a bright yellow, and I like the shape of the bulb.Once I replaced all the bulbs, I noticed a change in the brightness and quality of light in the bathroom - it was brighter, and a bit whiter than the incandescent bulbs. This suits me great; I love the look of a bright light. The dimming function works really well - there is no buzzing or flickering, which would automatically veto a bulb for me. On the lowest setting, the bulb produces a little more light than a night light. On the highest setting, it's very bright, but the quality of the light isn't sharp like it's shining right into your eyes.Replacing the incandescent bulbs with these was a breeze, and overall I'm really happy with them. We're almost done switching all of our lighting to LED, just a few more left! So excited about the efficiency and longevity of LEDs, and to have them installed everywhere.I got these light bulbs at a discount to test and review.
