Review on Renewed AMD Ryzen 9 5900X Desktop Processor - 12 Cores, 24 Threads, Unlocked by Aneta Szymaska ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Everything is fine, I liked the product, I bought it for a reason.

Of course, I wanted 5900, but, unlike 2022, only 5900X is on sale. Therefore, I compare with 3900 and the difference is simply huge. I think with 3900X it will be only a little less: - launch VMware > Windows 7: 3900 - 24.8 sec., 5900X - 14.8 sec. (no comments needed) - Photoshop 2022: startup time is almost the same, but inside everything is very fast and more pleasant to operate. The increase visually is just the same 1.5 times - compiling C++ or NodeJS is faster and smoother - games give out up to + 25% FPS The most important thing is that you yourself and with your own eyes see a qualitative and quantitative increase in productivity. It is true that a person has already written here, who "by eye" gave an increase in productivity by 1.5 times. I will also give, but "up to 1.5x". Z. Y. The main question is whether it makes sense to change Zen2 to Zen3? YES. There is. Unfortunately, I only understood this through experience, but now you yourself know what to do.

Pros
  • - high performance throughout - 12 cores - the golden mean - enough for everyone, for everything and for a long time - finally, viability AM4
Cons
  • - heat dissipation problem - high price, production crisis and crazy demand
