I am so glad I found this product. Our Yorkie has allergies and dry eyes, resulting in cemented buttocks that are almost impossible to remove with a warm, damp cloth. I have found that the best way to use this product is to first use a warm damp washcloth, gently rub the crusted area and really soak, then apply this product and massage in. Wait a minute and use a damp washcloth to gently remove the crust. It works very well and my dog loves having his eyes cleaned - no more twitching of eyelashes when brushing. PS - If you suspect an allergy, ask your vet if it's okay to give your dog antihistamines on a daily basis. This has helped reduce the frequency with which I need to clean my dog's eyes.
