Review on Dorman C660051 Brake Cable for Parking by Brett Islam
Fits 2001 Silverado 2500HD
It seemed to be too short but it fits in the end. Round cable holders are made of metal and differ from the factory plastic grommets. I think it can be positive or negative. As for replacing the factory plastic fasteners, I was able to easily dislodge the latch with a screwdriver. Not so easy with these cables if they break. Also, since they are metal, they could get stuck in their holes.
