I don't feel like focusing on one downside but the place my T5 has to sit held it up pretty well initially but it wasn't until a week later when I got the case opened that I've found my T5 falls out if I open it the wrong way round. So I'm wondering if it could come loose in the case while traveling and potentially damage it. I know T5s are pretty durable, but the stakes are really high when you're storing video files. If I had to buy again I would find something with a strap to hold it in place. It's frustrating to work with, but at least you can have peace of mind by carrying it with you everywhere.
