This is a great option when you need a strong clip that won't deform your exhaust pipe. Regular exhaust clamps work fine, but if tightened enough to seal, they warp the pipes and make it impossible to separate the tunes in the future. These clips avoid this problem. However, they must have a slit in the outer tube that allows the outer tube to pinch the inner tube. In my application, I simply cut two slots with a portable band saw. Sawzall or a hacksaw will also work. This is a good build and exhaust option that you may want to take apart again.
