Addie has a 30" bust and weighs just under 60lbs so I bought her an XL based on the size chart but she really is too big. It's functional and can pull through, but I can't. I don't think it will keep them warm because it doesn't fit properly. But it's so easy to put on compared to overhead sweaters, it's reversible with a warm flannel side, and it's washable. so i ordered a smaller one and will keep it as a spare.. UPDATE: the big one is unfortunately too small. I was hoping since she had such a big tear in the XL that the big one would be tighter, but it broke right out of the velcro in the big one. In the tighter version she looks super yellow and cute, but walk around the yard and roll in the grass for 5 minutes and the velcro comes off. I will try to wash and dry the XL and hope it shrinks a bit. Unfortunately, if you have a Pitty or other broad-chested dog, this isn't a very good fit. uct is for you if you don't want to alter it by sewing. This is a really cute product, just not for Pitt's big chest.
