Item arrived badly damaged and NOT working. The front wheel is curved and not round. The front brake calipers are bent to such an extent that they no longer work and the wheel/brakes cannot be installed correctly. The front brake bolt that holds the calipers is also badly bent, so the brakes are askew. Basically a mess upon arrival. I cringe at the thought that a product could come out this way and leave a child very miserable at Christmas or a birthday. I had to get some tools and try to straighten the pieces to put them together. It's risky, but I tried to at least put everything together while waiting for the support team to send new parts. . They said they only stock a limited number of parts. They offered to send replacement parts for free with no questions asked. Parts arrived within a week. However, when I wanted to exchange new parts for damaged ones, I realized that they had sent the wrong parts. They sent the wrong colors across the bank. Wrong wheel. Wrong tyre. Incorrect brakes/calipers. Correct specs but wrong colors. And the rep on the phone said they only stock one version of these things. The whole point of buying this bike was that my 6 year old loved the colors and the way it looked. No way am I going to put all the wrong parts on it or make it look ridiculous. He gets crushed. I'll try to salvage the bike by taking it to a repair shop to see what can be done (which we do to make our kids happy). But if you don't like damaged bikes and are wasting your time, I wouldn't buy this or any other Dynacraft bike (especially online).
