Although sold as a scaling converter, for some reason it doesn't scale properly or at all. 1080p 59.94Hz streams are not converted at all, 1080p 29.97Hz streams are converted and scaled somewhat, but only display in black and white and scaled incorrectly, resulting in the center of the image being about 66% below the screen and is completely cut off from below. . It was completely impossible to convert a 720 x 480 interlaced screen, although that is how the actual AV/CVBS resolution is determined. TLDR: If you're happy with the 720p conversion and not other resolutions, this will work, but if you need something else, look elsewhere.
