📺 Wiistar SDI to AV Converter, BNC to RCA Audio Scaler - HD-SDI, 3G-SDI Signal Converter for TV Review

I have four of these that I have used to extract audio from video to connect to a mixer at my church. They seemed to be working fine. But I recently had a split track video where the audio was different on the left and right and I was surprised that they put the RIGHT audio out on both audio outputs! Again, I have 4 of them and they all behave the same. I am extremely disappointed. I think I get what I paid for.

Only supports certain frame rates. Keep this in mind. Doesn't like interlaced signal in general and only matches audio level B signal. If you already have something like a decimator in your chain to scale your signal to level B, you'll be happy with this product. Otherwise problems may arise. DOES NOT WORK AT ALL. WILL NOT CONVERT SDI TO AV. Luckily I had a cheap HDMI to AV converter with me that worked great. IF YOU DEPEND ON IT FOR SIGNAL CONVERSION I STRONGLY ADVISE CHECKING IT WITH EVERY SOURCE YOU RECEIVE OR YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY AND PANIC TO FIX THE SIGNAL WITH ANOTHER DEVICE LIKE I DID. THIS THING WAS PLACED ON THE STAND OF TRAVEL SUITCASE WHILE LOADING.

Although sold as a scaling converter, for some reason it doesn't scale properly or at all. 1080p 59.94Hz streams are not converted at all, 1080p 29.97Hz streams are converted and scaled somewhat, but only display in black and white and scaled incorrectly, resulting in the center of the image being about 66% below the screen and is completely cut off from below. .
