This product is a joke. After 2 days of troubleshooting why my monthly Alienware 3420DW monitor keeps turning off and on, I settled on this cable. I used an OEM cable but it was short. So I ordered this 10 foot cable. Very nice cable. Immediately that night I had problems playing, but I didn't connect them. I thought it was my GPU (1080 Ti). nope Thought bad connections. nope Thought it was my PC's power settings. no I've read some data on shielded cables and how you should lower the refresh rate on your monitors to keep these cables working smoothly. That's when my memory kicked in. I didn't have this "monitor" problem until I started using this new cable. I went back to my shorter OEM cable and haven't had the hiccups since. Then I read some other people's reviews on this product and realized I'm not the only one with this problem. I'm not going to lower the refresh rate of a $1000 monitor to make a $13 cable work. 144Hz for 2k? Good luck friends. This cable goes in the trash.
