Review on 15ft Micro USB & Mini USB Dash Cam & Type-C Hardwire Kit with Mini/ATO Fuse, Battery Drain Protection & Port Adapters by Mike Modesto

Well, my Dash Cam cigarette lighter has stopped working. Rather than buying a replacement for around the same price I decided to try this fuse link kit to hardwire the unit. This frees up my SUV cigarette lighter socket for a cell phone charger, which is a plus. After researching I chose this kit because it has everything and more. The Micro Mini is what I need to get my DVR up and running. Also, 4 different fuse taps allow me to easily and quickly move this kit to another vehicle if needed. Installation was easy for me as I do a lot of DIY work. But anyone with a basic knowledge of electrical engineering will be able to install this plug and play kit. I decided to put a fuse on the accessory so that the power is cut off when the car is turned off. Although this kit has a built in shutdown feature, my dash cam does not have parking monitor. Just make sure the car's original fuse is installed at the bottom of the faucet. and the power fuse is in the top faucet where the red power wire connects to the included 15ft black box cable and you are done. The fuse was quite difficult to insert into the faucet so be careful not to break it. Overall this kit is excellent value for everything that is included. Bought a second set for another car.
