Fits '08 Nissan Xterra reservoirs. I had an issue where a small amount of coolant was evaporating and I found that it was because my factory header tank cap had lost some of its spring over the years. The cap is factory set at 14psi if the cap does not hold pressure as intended until the boiling point of the coolant drops and you lose some to evaporation. This new Stant cap is rated 16 so a nice soft upgrade. My problem was solved and Stant is a well-known quality brand. Only fits on the expansion tank. If you want a real radiator cap, you need another without a spring that is rated at 42 psi. The Gates part number for this part is 31561, another well known quality brand.
