They are high quality and moisture wicking, perfect for the gym. They are great for most body types and preferences. I prefer fitted shirts over compression or loose shirts, but this shirt is definitely loose, especially around the waist. If you like the "fitted" style I would suggest going down a size if you have an athletic/muscular build of a similar weight/height and don't mind a slightly cropped shirt. Especially if you have a thin waste.
