This box is fantastic. Good heavy plastic, the color is more brown than grey. It has a gasket around the lid, some kind of styrofoam, similar to a seal. It has very good plastic flanges that protect the seal from heavy rain when installed vertically with left or right hand hinges. I wouldn't use this box underwater but should be fine in bad weather. I'm not sure I would trust this box in the sun. ABS plastic is easy and fun to work with. Round holes are best drilled with a very small center drill and then with a step drill. Chassis bumps work well, no cracks. Large twist drills will snag, I would recommend gradually increasing the size using a step drill or punch. I made square holes by drilling along the outline, cutting roughly at right angles with a hacksaw blade, and sawing it to size. Once the box has become like a swiss cheese there seems to be a risk of it tearing between the holes if you are too rough. . I plan on gluing a plastic corner between some of my close components to increase long-term stability. Did I mention suspension dampers are great for this? If you want perfect holes, this is the way to go. The plastic plug that remains in the stamp is difficult to remove, I have no secret about that.
