Bought these rods to draw points with the ends of the rods. They don't work as well as dot paint tools with ball-bearing tips. These are harder to control. the size of the dots depends more on the pressure and the amount of paint on the stick. There is also some suction when you lift the bar which creates an effect in the colour.
