The perfect solution to my wall problem

I'm very happy with the Tripp Lite extension. I had a big problem with 5 voltage adapters (wall outlets) that I had to connect to my new UPS Tripp Lite. The UPS output power connections were in most cases as close together as possible, making direct connection impossible. My first attempt at a solution was to use short power cords and some Y-shaped power cords to help me connect all the adapters, as well as some straight AC plugs. It worked, but the result was a mess: all the adapters were lying on the floor in an unsightly heap as shown in the first picture and I couldn't get them out. Scanning Revain for a solution to my problem. At 3am I came across the Tripp Lite 8 Outlet Bench & Cabinet Powerstrip. Although I would have preferred if they positioned the sockets perpendicular to the length of the strip, I was confident that they would fit my adapters, which they do with a spare socket. I really appreciate that they included a solid shield for the power button to prevent an accidental power outage. Built to industry standards, the unit is encased on all sides in a rugged aluminum enclosure, and the outlets mate snugly with the adapter plugs, eliminating the risk of rain. The extension cord does not contain surge protection and is therefore ideal for connection to a UPS system. With the expansion I was able to clean the setup and clear everything off the floor as well. The second photo shows the end result. The only thing I didn't like was the 15 foot power cord. I could have ordered a model with a 6ft cord but according to the listing it costs at least $10 more than a 15ft model - I didn't understand the logic behind that pricing at all. I was going to just leave the power cord in place, but decided to bite the bullet and cut it off. I added a good quality Hubbell power plug. I know I've probably breached the lifetime warranty, but I never seriously expect to need one.
