As a 5'1" auto mechanic you could imagine anything taller than a standard Honda Civic (thank goodness they're not 4WD because they're only an inch taller!) so I get a full roof. I can reach 3/4 of the entire roof with this nifty tool. It's very durable, moves a little, but no universal tool fits perfectly. But I love that it works for small and large cars and trucks and even front and back doors. With 2 adjustable angles (which admittedly took a second to figure out), the step sits squarely on any car, in any door frame!
