Clamp shared between center coils and slots. This happened the second time I used the tool. It was used on a 5hp air compressor aluminum flywheel. and on the flywheel of a 14hp self-propelled, as the metal is very thin. Thickness less than 1/8 inch. Also the metal is not very hard as the description says "hardened steel". If the tool broke, the threaded central shaft simply rotated. Impossible to wait a week for a new tool, I was able to finish the job by arc welding when it broke and removing the flywheel. but the device is junk. I paid $22 for a tool used twice. Use the tool, not operator error. It didn't work at low loads. I may have a soft one or a bad one, but they are mass produced by the millions and just stamp different names on the box. I even paid $23 for it. Don't buy the $14 device or it will fall apart so easily. But it happened anyway. Buyers be careful.
