I got this collar because I have a hyperactive dog and am looking for the best way to train an old dog and new stuff. Unfortunately, he might be nervous or have ADHD or something. I've been using the collar for a little over a week and to be honest my only real complaint is that the metal pins don't seem long enough to go through his thick coat. They offer short and long ones, but the long ones don't seem long enough for my application. The remote control is easy to use and easy to navigate, the instructions are clear and concise. Haven't had time to test the battery yet as it's still fairly new but seems to be holding up pretty well. I'm glad it can be charged instead of changing batteries. The collar feels soft enough without being uncomfortable and long enough to fit any pup. I need to cut mine. It also has a reflective strip for nighttime sleep. Great for me as I live on a large lot so it's easier to see. It took me a while to figure out the three settings and I think my dog is getting used to it. Haven't used the shock yet as I've had trouble getting through his mech, although the vibration seems to hold him back a bit. I received the item free of charge for review, but the timing could not be chosen. ideal for me as I was in dire need of a new collar. Overall I am very happy with it and will continue to work on his behavior and use of the collar.
