I have bought these bamboo charcoal air purifying bags 3 times. Just when I think I don't need more. They do such a great job, I order more for storage areas that need a refresh. The built-in bookshelf, where I keep my photo albums, smelled musty. Installed one last week and made a difference. Mom's cookbooks (she doesn't need them anymore). smelled musty; Turn the pages a few times to air them, then place the bag on the bookshelf. The storage stool has throws and sweatshirts that can be quickly wrapped up on a cold night to keep them from getting stale. Although they are clean; If you keep them in a closed place, they will get old. These bags do. I also put them in filing cabinets for old files. I have tried other brands but they have scents. These are the best. Highly recommended.
